You can place in any room at home where ever you need security presence. It has SD card up to 32 GB allowing it to safely store 64 hours of footage. It does not transmit. So no risk of someone stealing your signals. The unit has inbuilt Sony CCD camera featuring a wide angel lens and night vision capability. Also comes with tissues.
